Research Notes on Ultram Side Effects
As with most medications, there are several possible side effects associated with the use of Ultram (tramadol). The most common side effects include nausea, drowsiness, headaches, vomiting, dizziness, and constipation. More serious side effects include hallucinations, fever, coma, and changes in blood pressure.1

- Ultram is used to treat moderate to severe pain.2
- Patients with a history of liver disease, mental illness, depression, or stomach disorders should consult their physician before using Ultram.2
- Ultram should not be administered to anyone under the age of eighteen.2
