Research Notes on Kenalog Interactions


Kenalog (triamcinolone) drug interactions may include large doses of aspirin and salicylates, blood thinners such as warfarin, bupropion, diabetic drugs, drugs that cause potassium loss like amphotericin B, diuretics, estrogens, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, quinolone antibiotics like ciprofloxacin, antibiotics such as erythromycin, some anti-seizure medications such as phenytoin and phenobarbital, live vaccines, natalizumab, and certain herbal products like licorice. Tell your doctor about all your prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, minerals, herbal products, and drugs prescribed by other doctors before starting Kenalog.1
