Formatting Tips
- You can ignore anything inside double curly brackets, with the exception of the Research Notes ("Guidenote").
- To link to another WidsomCard enter Page Title. Example: Hepatitis where the link text is the page name. To customize the link text enter custom link text. Example: CPR in children.
- To link to an OrganizedWisdom category enter link text. Example: gastrointestinal health. Be sure to include the colon before the word Category.
- Outside link formatting: * Site Name:
Page Title - To add a date at the end of a news or journal article:
Jan. 10, 2008 (replace the date, of course, with the correct one) - Leave a single line-break between sections of the WisdomCard.
Research Notes
- Research Notes are a descriptive summary of the search term, usually between four and six complete sentences.
- The Research Notes should be written in clear, concise language.
- The Research Notes must be in your words; do not borrow exact language from other sources.
- Be sensitive to the user, imagine if you or a loved one were just diagnosed.
- Please do not include your own bias or opinion. Just the facts.
- Specific facts should be referenced. Reference formatting is:
- Use proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Start typing your Research Notes after "
{{Guidenote|note= "
Fast Facts
- Our policy is to include 3-5 Fast Facts.
- Fast Facts should be full sentences.
- Fast Facts begin with an asterisk (*).
- Fast Facts go inside the double curly brackets around the Research Notes; put the closing double curly bracket after the last Fast Fact.
- Fast Facts begin one line down from the Research Notes, with a line break between the Research Notes and Fast Facts.
