Research Notes on Xalatan
Xalatan is used to help reduce pressure in the eye caused by open angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.1 It works by increasing the amount of fluid that drains from the eye.2 Xalatan is a brand name for the drug Latanoprost. For complete information, see the Latanoprost WisdomCard.

- Side effects include headache, blurred vision, dry or watery eyes, and mild eye discomfort.2
- Remove contact lenses before using.2
- This medication may harm an unborn baby; be sure to tell your doctor if you are pregnant.2
