Women tend to face more social stigma and negative comments regarding tattoo choice, so it comes as no surprise that women are far more likely than men to eventually have the tattoo removed. This study compared data from four dermatology clinics from the years of 1996 to 2006. One out of four adults in America between the ages of 18 to 30 has a tattoo and approximately 20 percent wind up being unhappy with them.
