Whipworms in Cats

Research Notes on Whipworms in Cats

Several species of whipworms are common in dogs, but whipworm infections in cats are rare. Only one species of whipworm -- Trichuris serrata -- infects cats. Routine fecal examinations and dewormings should be done to keep cats free from parasites.
