Research Notes on What Is Recurrent Ovarian Cancer
Recurrent ovarian cancer is a medical term that signifies that ovarian cancer has returned after a period of time in which it was not detected. Between 70% to 90% of ovarian cancer patients will experience recurrent ovarian cancer. Patients who are initially diagnosed with a later stage of ovarian cancer appear more likely to experience recurring ovarian cancer.1
