- Basic skills in playing volleyball include serve, pass, set, attack, block and dig.1
- Common volleyball injuries include rotator cuff tendinitis, suprascapular neuropathy, hand injuries, jumper's knee, ankle sprain and back pain.2
- Do warm up exercises such as jumping jacks, stationary cycling or running or walking in place for 3 to 5 minutes. Then slowly and gently stretch, holding each stretch for 30 seconds before playing volleyball.3
