Research Notes on Virus Linked to Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
A new study has revealed that around two-thirds of people1 who suffer from chronic fatigue syndrome are infected with a retrovirus called xenotropic murine leukemia virus-related virus, or XMRV.2 This virus has also been linked to prostate cancer. The study is published in the October 2009 online edition of Science Express.
