Research Notes on Vicodin
Vicodin is a medication commonly prescribed for moderate to severe pain.1 It is a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Due to its potential to cause addiction, the use of Vicodin should be strictly regulated by your healthcare provider.2 If you use Vicodin for an extended period of time, your doctor may choose to wean you off of it to reduce the chance of experiencing withdrawal symptoms.1
