Research Notes on Venous Eczema
Venous eczema, also called Stasis Eczema, is seen mostly in people with varicose veins. It occurs when people have impaired circulation which can result to edema and inflammation of the affected part. It reveals a reddish, itchy and dry/ flaky skin, commonly seen on the lower extremities. It is very important to avoid scratching specifically on the affected part to prevent infection.
