Research Notes on Valsartan
Valsartan - sold under the brand name Diovan - is used to treat high blood pressure or heart failure. It keeps blood vessels from narrowing, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Valsartan is also used to reduce the risk of death after a heart attack.1
