Research Notes on Vaginal Yeast Infection
Vaginal yeast infections are very common in women. Most are caused by a type of yeast fungus, known as Candida albicans.1 Common symptoms include: burning, itching, and vaginal irritation.2

- More common in women who are obese, suffer from diabetes, or pregnant.4
- Bubble bath, bath oils, and perfumed soaps can increase the risk of vaginal yeast infections.5
