Uterine Polyps

Uterine Polyps are growths that protrude from the lining of the uterus. They may be associated with excess estrogen in the body from hormone therapy or certain ovarian tumors . Uterine Polyps can be diagnosed by vaginal ultrasound, hysteroscopy, and dilation and curettage. Uterine Polyps are usually benign and can be surgically removed using a curette or hysterescopy.
