About meI am a stay-at-home mom and Certified Guide here at OrganizedWisdom. While keeping up with my two "jobs", I also attend a Business degree program online through my local community college with high hopes of graduating in the spring of 2009.

I have two children: Sierra who is 8 and Tyler who is 1. Besides them, I share my home with my husband, Jason, 2 cats (Jasper and Mookie) and a dog (Milo). In my spare time, I enjoy researching my genealogy (a bit obsessed), scrapbooking, and traveling. My mom (also an OrganizedWisdom Guide) owns and operates a children's fleece apparel internet store. The link is above if you are curious in taking a look. She has a lot of really cute items! (Oh, and I made her site...another one of my hobbies).

Expertise with health informationI spent three years working in the Special Education department of my local school system where my primary job entailed working closely with the School Medicaid Representative, tracking documentation, and submitting claims. Through my experience with the school system I became educated of a variety of special needs, conditions, and learning disabilities that affect many children.

I also took a variety of college courses in Early Childhood Education where I spent a lot of time researching Pervasive Developmental Disorders, and most specifically Autism. I also researched a variety of learning disorders, color blindness, Down Syndrome, and more.

Experience with Web research and contentI have extensive experience in completing health-related web searches, often researching conditions for myself and my family. Through my research I have learned how to discriminate between legitimate and illegitimate websites.
How did you hear about OrganizedWisdom? Why do you want to join the Guide Program?I heard about OrganizedWisdom while researching positions I could do from my home office. Through my research I weeded through many scams and jobs that were not a good match for me. When I first heard about OrganizedWisdom, I was eager to learn more and immediately came to their website to read up on the Guide program. I then turned to a few message boards where Guides were discussing their experiences with the company. These Guides seemed pleased with the work and I decided to apply.

A couple of weeks later I was hired as a Guide and began completing WisdomCards. A month later I was invited to begin the process of becoming a Certified Guide, and have since completed that process, enabling me to produce quality cards faster and more efficiently. I have been a Guide with OrganizedWisdom since April of 2008 and have enjoyed my time with the company. The staff is wonderful to work with and is always willing to help out when I have any questions. This company has allowed me to provide a financial contribution to my family while staying home with with my children.
