This WisdomCard managed by: Aimee Abellaneda

Ulcers are sores that occur from the loss of skin and tissue on an internal membrane, or the surface of the skin. Ulcers that are found on the digestive tract membranes are called peptic ulcers, stomach ulcers, or duodenal ulcers. Other typs of ulcers are ulcers of the mouth and genital ulcers. Bed sores or foot ulcers can be serious, creating severe open wounds.
