Research Notes on Tularemia
Tularemia is an infection caused by Francisella tularensis bacteria. The bacteria are transmitted through tick, fly, or mosquito bites, or contact with infected animals. The symptoms of infection manifest within 2 to 10 days. The infection can be treated effectively with antibiotics.
