One of the most common food allergies in the U.S. are tree nut allergies. They include almonds, walnuts, macadamia nuts, chestnuts, beechnuts, hazelnuts, pine nuts, brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, gingko nuts and hickory nuts. Reactions include rash, hives, redness and swelling around the mouth, stomachache, asthma, cramping, diarrhea or vomiting, asthma, and in severe cases anaphylaxis.
