Research Notes on Trapped Penis
Trapped penis, also called paraphimosis, refers to a condition when the foreskin becomes trapped behind the head of the penis and cannot be moved to its original position. If this situation lasts for more than several hours it can be a serious medical emergency as lack of blood flow can cause the area to suffer from gangrene. However, if treated quickly and correctly the outcome is generally excellent.
