Research Notes on Topamax
Topamax is a brand name for the drug topiramate. It is an anticonvulsant that is used to treat seizures. Topomax is also used for preventing migraine headaches.1 Additionally, it has been investigated as a treatment for obesity, binge eating, alcoholism, and for some psychiatric conditions like bipolar disorder.2 For more information, see the topiramate WisdomCard.
