Research Notes on Teething
Teething is the developmental stage in which an infant's teeth begin to grow in. Teething typically begins as early as three months; in some cases it may not begin until twelve months. Occasionally at birth, a baby may even present with one or more teeth. Teething is also referred to as "cutting teeth."
