OCD, or Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, is an anxiety disorder that is defined by recurrent and persistent thoughts, or impulses and repetitive behaviors or mental acts. The onset of OCD usually ranges from the late teens to early 20s. Both sexes are affected. Most teens who are diagnosed with OCD can be effectively treated with therapy and certain medications.
