Research Notes on Tamiflu Side Effects
Tamiflu (oseltamivir) side effects most commonly reported include diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Most people who use Tamiflu tolerate the medication quite well, and side effects are generally easy to manage. Children sometimes experience more significant side effects of Tamiflu such as conjunctivitis and other eye infections.1
Fast Facts:
- In general, nausea, vomiting, and dizziness tend to disappear as the body grows accustomed to the medication.2
- Serious side effects, such as allergic reaction and difficulty breathing are rare, but should be reported to a physician immediately.2
