Research Notes on T-Cells
T-cells are a member of a group of white blood cells known as lymphocytes.1 T-cells develop in the thymus gland and are broken into three broad categories. T-cells are responsible for a number of responses including direct attacks on foreign substances such as bacteria and viruses.1

- All T-cells originate in the bone marrow and develop in the thymus gland.2
