Research Notes on Symptoms of Hemorrhagic Dengue Fever
Dengue haemorrhagic fever is a potentially fatal infection which is spread by the aedes aegypti mosquito. Symptoms of dengue hemorrhagic fever are similar to those of dengue fever, however it is followed by hemorrhagic manifestations - the blood vessels start to leak and cause bleeding from the nose, mouth, and gums. Circulatory failure and shock followed by death can occur. About 5 percent of people with Dengue haemorrhagic fever die; mostly children and young adults.
