Research Notes on Swine Flu and Naproxen

Naproxen can be part of an overall treatment plan for swine flu (also known as H1N1 virus).1 Taking over-the-counter pain relievers such as naproxen will help alleviate your aches and pains while reducing fever.2 When preparing a swine flu survival kit include items such as naproxen, acetaminophen, and ibuprofen.3 Although naproxen is a relatively safe product, you should not take more than the recommended dosage as this could potentially cause serious side effects such as stomach or intestinal problems.4
