Research Notes on Sun Poisoning Rash
Sun poisoning, also known by its scientific term photodermatitis, is a skin condition that causes red, itchy skin rash or blisters, skin peeling, fever and dizziness or nausea. It is usually caused by exposure to the sun during hot seasons when ultraviolet rays are strongest. It may also be caused by medications causing photosensitivity (sensitivity to light).1
