Research Notes on Sue McLaughlin, R.D., C.D.E.
Sue McLaughlin is a registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator at The Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. She is also President of Health Care & Education for the American Diabetes Association. In addition, McLaughlin serves as an educator and lifestyle coach for the Ho-Chunk Hope Special Diabetes Program for Indians (SDPI), a diabetes prevention program demonstration project with the Winnebago, Nebraska Tribe.1

- She served as associate editor for The Art and Science of Diabetes Self-Management: A Desk Reference.
- Her awards include Outstanding Volunteer Service in 2002 and 2003 from the American Diabetes Association, and Recognized Young Dietitian and Outstanding Dietitian from the Nebraska Dietetic Association in 1991 and 1999.1
