Strawberry allergy reactions are similar to other types of food allergy reactions. The common symptom is itching, swelling, or tingling in the mouth, lips, tongue, and throat. Other symptoms include watery itchy eyes, runny nose, and sneezing. Itching, hives, as well as allergic rhinitis and asthma can also be reactions to a strawberry allergy. Interestingly, scientists have found that the white strawberry does not create an allergic reaction in many people.
