Research Notes on Squash
Squash contains a high amount of vitamin A, vitamin C, dietary fiber, folic acid and other vitamins. Extracts from squash have been shown to help reduce symptoms of benign prostate hypertrophy (BPH) and aid in cholesterol management. Choose a squash that is firm and feels heavy, it should have a dull, hard rind.
