Research Notes on Spinal Cord Injury
The spinal cord is the group of nerves that run from the brain to the rest of the body. An injury to the spinal cord can led to muscle spasms, numbness, or partial or total paralysis. Various anti-swelling drugs or surgery are often the treatment for spinal cord injuries. There are a multitude of support groups and foundations for individuals with spinal cord injuries.
