James Coburn

James Coburn was an American actor who appeared in over 70 movies, including the movie Affliction which earned him an Academy Award for best supporting actor. He began suffering with rheumatoid arthritis in 1979, which often left him debilitated. He credited a treatment program which consisted of deep tissue massage, electromagnetic treatments, and the dietary supplement methylsulfonylmethane (MSM) with, in his words, "curing" him of RA.
