Research Notes on Sleep Panic Disorder
Sleep panic disorder (also known as nocturnal panic attacks) occur in approximately 50 to 70 percent of individuals that have a panic disorder. Nocturnal panic attacks tend to cause sufferers to wake suddenly from sleep in a state of anxiety with no obvious trigger for the event.1
