Research Notes on Skin
Skin is the largest organ of the human body. It consists of three layers. Those layers are called the epidermis, dermis and the fat layer. Skin has several functions. It protects the body from light, injury and infection, regulates body temperature, senses stimulation and stores water, fat and vitamin D.1
