Research Notes on Dr. Sigmund Freud
Sigmund Freud is known as “the father of psychoanalysis.”1 He is best known for his theories on the unconscious mind, transference, repression, etc.1 He also set the precedent for the clinical psychology model of a patient and therapist that is still used today.
