The shingles vaccine, like any other medicine, could cause side effects or adverse reactions.1 However, this is a case-to-case basis, not everyone who gets the vaccination experiences side effects.2 Some of the most common side effects of the vaccine include redness, pain, tenderness and swelling at the injection site, and headaches.3
