Research Notes on Scratch Test for Allergies
A scratch test is one form of a skin test for allergies. A small drop of a possible allergen is placed on the skin. A tiny scratch is then made in the surface of the skin. The doctor will check this spot for possible reactions.1

- Typically done on a child's upper back or the forearm of an adult.1
