Schizophrenia is a progressively disabling disease of the brain. This disease is not well understood and may consist of several different illnesses. Many people who suffer from schizophrenia also suffer from obsessive-compulsive disorder.1

- This disorder is commonly confused with bipolar disorder, delusional disorder, and schizotypal personality disorder.3
