Research Notes on Scalp Psoriasis
Scalp psoriasis or seborrheic psoriasis is a skin disease that causes patches of inflamed and scaly skin. It is one of the most common forms of psoriasis with about half of people with psoriasis having this type.1 More severe cases of scalp psoriasis can lead to hair loss if not treated properly.1 Scalp psoriasis is affected by stress, infection, and changes in the weather.1
