There is increasing evidence that omega-3 fatty acids can help people reduce inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis. The recommended weekly servings of fish to reach the full benefits that omega 3 fatty acids have to offer is four to six.1 There are also omega 3 supplements available. It may take up to twelve weeks before you may notice the benefits from these supplements.2
