This WisdomCard managed by: Nicole Kinsey

Retinoblastoma is a rare type of childhood cancer. It is the only common type of eye cancer in children. Retinoblastoma begins in the retina, the very back portion of the eye. This cancer is curable if caught early enough; however, 87% of children with retinoblastoma die, mostly in developing countries. This cancer strikes as early as from the womb up to about the age of 5.
