Research Notes on Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory therapy is an allied health profession in the United States and Canada. Respiratory therapy is the assessment and treatment of respiratory and cardiovascular disorders. Respiratory therapy includes oxygen and bronchodilator therapy, airway and ventilator management, pulmonary function testing, assisting with a bronchoscopy procedure, CPAP and BiPAP therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, as well as clinical assessment to name a few.1
