Research Notes on Radon Poisoning
Radon is a chemical substance that is formed from the decay of radium and considered to be a health hazard. This substance occurs naturally and is an odorless, and colorless gas produced by the breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water. Since radon is a gas, it can penetrate buildings through openings or cracks in the foundation. When inhaled, it can lead to lung cancer.
