Research Notes on Radiotherapy
Radiotherapy, also called radiation therapy, is when energy is released in waves with the purpose of killing unwanted cells or stopping their growth. Radiotherapy is most commonly used as a treatment for cancer. It is often used in conjunction with surgery or chemotherapy.
