Research Notes on Radiosurgery
Radiosurgery is a form of radiation therapy that delivers precise dose of radiation to treat tumors with pinpoint accuracy. It also called a “cyber knife” because it can perform surgery without any incision. The Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of radiosurgery in most parts of the body other than its previously approved use for head and neck tumors.
