Pustular psoriasis can be recognized by red swollen skin, puss-filled lesions, and soreness of the affected area. This form of psoriasis is usually found on the hands and soles of the feet. Pustular psoriasis flare-ups can be triggered by certain medications, sunburn, and infections.1
