Research Notes on Pustular Psoriasis
Pustular psoriasis is an uncommon type of psoriasis. It is characterized by white pustules encompassed by red skin. These pus-filled blisters are not contagious. They can occur on large areas of the body, or be localized to areas such as the hands or feet.1

- Also called generalized pustular psoriasis.2
- Possible causes include some drugs, infection, and pregnancy.2
- Phototherapy and some medications such as methotrexate, colchicine, ciclosporin, tioguanine and hydroxyurea can be effective treatments.2
