Research Notes on Prunes
Plums have antioxidant properties from vitamin C, beta-carotene and phytonutrients called phenols. Plums are also high in fiber, potassium and vitamin B-2 (riboflavin). A few years ago, the California Dried Plum Board decided to change their product's name from prunes to dried plums and sales rose.
