Research Notes on Protein Power Diet
The Protein Power Diet is a diet program that promotes high proteins foods. This is almost similar to the Atkins Diet, however, this diet allows only a limited amount of carbohydrates. The amount of protein suggested depends on the level of physical activity of the individual.
Fast Facts:
- The diet program was written and developed by Michael an,d Mary Dan Eades, who are both doctors. 1
- Some foods rich in proteins are fish, poultry, red meat, low-fat cheese (cottage cheese, feta, mozzarella, Muenster), eggs, and tofu.1
- Regular resistance exercise is suggested for dieters.2
