The massage or stimulation of the prostate gland in males is known as a prostate massage.1 The massage can be performed for medical or sexual purposes.2 The procedure is often a part of the digital rectal examination that tests for prostate cancer.3 The test was used in the early 1990s as an unproven treatment for chronic bacterial prostatitis.
